Living on Capitol Hill we wanted to find an urban church in DC that was progressive, authentic, and a good fit for our family.  We loved Calvary from our first visit and soon decided to join as members.  This church community provides us not only a real sense of home but a loving community for the development of our souls and our family.

Calvary is our church home because here you are free to question and believe; you worship with a truly diverse community; the Sunday morning service combines the most beautiful elements of the traditional and modern; people are committed to service outside the church walls; and all people are embraced.  Having such an amazing community of families with kids (and patient adults willing to watch those kids during service) is also a major plus.

No matter where our family goes in the future, we will always feel like we have a church community to call home in Washington, DC.
